A new law in Italy cracked down on drink driving — instantly creating a real-world need for safer ways to get home after a night out. TACSI steps into that gap with a completely new kind of service: part private driver, part ride app, built specifically to get you — and your car — home, hassle-free.

It’s not just a name. TACSI stands for torno a casa sicuro — “I’m getting home safe”. That’s the promise at the heart of the brand.

Challenges

Sicily isn’t exactly flooded with transport options. Taxis are expensive, ride-hailing apps are nearly non-existent, and locals don’t typically rely on either. So launching a new transport service here isn’t just introducing a brand — it’s introducing a whole new category.
That means education is half the battle. In a region where trust in this kind of service doesn’t exist yet, every early interaction matters. Reputation builds slowly, and cracks easily. First impressions carry weight.
